Hello, my name is Daniel,

I'm a soundtrack composer and music teacher from Brazil, focused on video-game scoring.

I started my musical journey 15 years ago when I bought my first guitar and started playing in heavy metal bands, later discovering a passion for electronic music and production. In my solo work I started approaching composing as if I was writing for imaginary games, so, what was at first a creativity exercise, became my passion and career.

I credit my game music style to playing a lot of Donkey Kong Country and Spyro as a child: strong melodies, complex drum parts and multi-genre track lists are still a strong part of my work's DNA.

Reasons to hire me:

- 14 years experience in composing

- Skilled in Guitar, Bass and Singing

- Fastest composer in the west

- Familiar with a lot of musical genres

"Inkless Inktober"

I'm a big music nerd. I'm always looking for ways to challange myself to write music in new genres and limitations, so I came up with a fun way to build portfolio.

Motivated by my illustrator friends hype for Inktober, I've decided to write a track a day for the whole October month. I've had to cheat on some weekends with remixes when I couldn't write a whole track, but still, 31 mixed and mastered tracks in 31 days made me develop a fast and reliable workflow to make fresh and exciting music on tight schedules. You can hear more polished versions of my favourite tracks from the experiment on my portfolio to this day, but these raw tracks might give you an idea of what kind of demo you could be receiving in only 1 day of work.

You can hear the results from the two years of challange on my Bandcamp:
